A Fun Web Site for the Bellringers in North West Suffolk

Despite fears of not being able to hold our January meeting on Saturday because of the foul weather, there was a good turnout and certainly well worth the effort. 7 new members from the District were elected to the Guild and there was some good  quality ringing at the Norman Tower both before and after the business meeting. It was great to see Steve Young there with Ruth. He seems to be coping with the start of his treatment reasonably well and he is feeling quite positive about things. Thank you to everybody who made it to the meeting and comiserations to those of you whose social activities are still being hampered by the awful road conditions. I think we all are beginning to get a bit frustrated that we as country do not cope with real winter weather. Lets hope that recent experiences will force  the authorities into better preparation for the next time it happens!

Please refer to the Fundraiser page for information about the Help 4 Heroes Appeal which we are supporting during the District Quarter Peal week. If you would like a copy of the information to give to your parish magazine editor this would certainly raise awareness and help us make the fundraising successful. I also now have some H4H posters and publicity material and would be grateful if local deanery reps could help with the distribution of this.
