A Fun Web Site for the Bellringers in North West Suffolk

1st February Hopton gets the go ahead. Help required.

Hello all!

We are delighted to advertise that our project to rehang and augment Hopton bells has now got the go-ahead. Taylors, who have been appointed to do the work, have indicated that they should be able to take the bells out starting on March 8th, and they anticipate that the rehang should be completed by the end of June.

We now need to recruit local ringers and others from the Guild to assist the bellhangers and others involved in the rehanging work and therefore save on costs, and we attach a flier that we have sent out in the five parishes that make up our benefice. We would be delighted to hear from anyone who could provide assistance in any aspects of the work in the list (see examples in the flier) -- any time that you can give, long or short, will be very welcome and will save on our costs.

If there is any way in which you would like to contribute, please phone or e-mail Ruth or myself and tell us how you could assist. We shall be delighted to add you to our list of volunteers and we shall make sure that we contact you when we have set up a schedule for the work.
